transferring vm from one cue to another cue

Hello i have a customer who has two CME/ CUE routers running their phone systems at different locations.

they are receiving voicemail at the wrong location and want to transfer it to the other locations CUE.

Of course when they get dial by name when attempting the transfer of the vm it says unable to find the user also same issue when attempting to dial by extension.

So my question is. Is there a way to make this design work? I understand why it is failing but have not been able to find a resolution.

CME/CUE ----- WAN----- CME/CUE

direct dials work between sites because of dial peers.

however CUE is unable to find users to xfer calls.

Hi Dennis,

For this to work the two systems would need to be networked (using VPIM) based on either DNS or IP addressing. There are config examples for both in the attached link;
