Transfter call directly to Voicemail in CME 12

Hi,


How do i set up a softkey button or without the button, transfer a call directly to a extension's voice mail without ringing the phone. All the phones are configured as SIP Phones and they are all 8841

Hi,

 

There is a softkey option 'iDivert" available on SIP phones to achieve this. You need to add this softkey in COnnected/RingIn state based on the requirement and when this option is selected, you can directly transfer a ringing or answered call to your voicemail.

But this key is not available in 8841 phones but decline softkey serves the same purpose. You can try that.

I want to explain. When someone picks up a outside call and then they need to transfer the call directly to a specific extention voice mail. Because regular transfer, calls the extention and rings the phone.
