Hi guys,

We have specific voice-port configured in security cabin/guardhouse connected to analog desk phone presenting noise during calls. Is there any way to improve and remove the noise. We have checked the cabling looks good, however I believe that the problem is due to the distance from the VG320.

You mention noise.  What type of noise is it that you are encountering?  Static, white noise, garbled audio, something else?  You also mention distance may be a factor.  What is the approximate distance from the VG to the guardhouse?  By the sounds of it the guardhouse is separate from the main building which leads me to believe there is cable outside, either aerial or via conduit.  Does the noise fluctuate with changes in weather?
