Cisco CloudCenter Integration with ServiceNow: CMDB Documentation and Example

I have ServiceNow (Helsinky) successfully integrated with Cisco CloudCenter 4.7.1 per the following documentation:

Is there any documentation on CloudCenter integration with ServiceNow CMDB and how to create configuration items (CI's)?

For background, I'm trying to deploy apps using CloudCenter on the backend while using ServiceNow for the frontend. After a service request has been successfully submitted, approved, then deployed, I want the ability for the ServiceNow admin to see the VM instances (eg: CI's) in the ServiceNow CMDB.  From what I can tell, I'm missing a step on getting CloudCenter to create CI's in ServiceNow. I have action policies that send notifications back to ServiceNow when an app is deployed. Is there another custom action I need to configure so create the CI's for the app? If so, how do I do that?  Are there any examples available?

    As for now we have quite limited Service Now integration, I need to confirm that.
