This file does not appear to be available from the public downloads, so it sounds like you are trying to install a hotfix provided by TAC. Please work with TAC to troubleshoot why you are getting the 'Invalid bundle contents' error.

This Community is not TAC and cannot help with TAC-provided hotfixes.

Hi @tmcgrath24 ,

try to copy the PATCH to disk: and install the PATCH using a local repository:

ise/admin(config)# repository LOCAL
 url disk:/
ise/admin# copy ftp://<FTP_IP_Addr>/<file> disk:/

Note: are you trying to install the ise-patchbundle-2.4.0.357-Patch14-21041509.SPA.x86_64.tar.gz?

Hope this helps !!!

Thank you. We will give this a try today.  We are not trying to isntall the bundle but just the patch, CSCvx85807_2.4.0.357_patch14-SPA (1).tar.gz

This was instructed bat our TAC engineer.

@Marcelo Morais  Thank you. We got a step further. I was able to upload the file to a local repository. I can see the file in that repository. However I still get the invalid content error trying to install the hotfix. I've tried "patch isntall" and "Application Install"

I appreciate the help, I am green/rookie when it comes to ISE

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the response.

I am currently working with TAC. Was looking for guidance from the community due to inexperience. Was hoping to learn something especially if my procedures were missing a step.

thank you for all of your input. TAC re-sent the file several times and we were finally able to extract the correct files and get the hotfix installed.

I had this issue also. What you need to do is extract the contents of the CSC...tar.gz file until you get the "ise-apply-CSC....tar.gz" file. That is the one that needs to be installed.
