ISE 2.2 PSN long blocked time after failed sync with PAN

Hello,

 

Customer is exhibiting the behavior that when they add new ISE PSN node if everything is correct it gets synced up with PAN in 10/15 minutes.

But if something is wrong the node stays blocked for 3 hours. And there is no option to exit out of whole sync process.

Customer currently has ISE 2.2 release.

In this respect - has been any process streamlining done maybe in newer releases that in the case of errors in the sync process that PSN node gets unblocked faster?

I'm not aware of any.  Has the customer worked with the TAC to troubleshoot why the node was unable to join the deployment?

Hi Tim,
Yes - they have a TAC case open to look for the cause why the sync process was failing.
But what they would like to see is some way to interrupt the sync process and not to need to wait for 3 hours in the case of failure.
Or that whole sync process is streamlined so that in the case of failure doesn't take so long.
