ISE: Client Provisioning thru a HTTP Proxy 8080 and Catalyst 9300

Hello Team,

my customer is going to replace some C3650/C3850 with brand new C9300.

Right now the switches are configured to redirect the client thru a provisioning workflow if 802.1x is not configured on client.

Clients are configured with http proxy, using a non-standard http port (8080).

In order to have the infrastructure working (eg http redirect), the switches are configured with "ip port-map https port 8080" command.

Customer is replicating the existing C3650/C3850 config on C9300 but apparently "ip port-map https port 8080" is missing on the switches. We suspect missing this command on C9300 will break the provisioning workflow.

How is this managed on C9300?

Hi,

There is a bug filed for this issue: CSCvg82779. Use "ip http port 8080" as a workaround, or do the provisioning via wireless.

Cristian Matei.
