ISE Upgrade - 2.3 - 2.4. SNS3400 -SNS3500

Hi my customer wants to upgrade their ISE estate from 2.3 on SNS3400 to 2.4.  The release notes advise that 2.4 is not supported on SNS3400 Series, therefore it appears as though they would need to purchase SNS3500 servers.

Is it possible to transfer the existing licenses to the new servers. If so what is the process.

Thank you.

The ISE license (example base plus) can be rehosted on the new platform

Please see info in the guide

For traditional licenses - you can follow the process here to ReHost the license on a new appliance/VM/etc.

For Smart Licenses, all you need to do is enable Smart Licenses and log in
