ISE VM secondary replacement.

Hi Guys,

We have a distributed ISE setup with 2 nodes. The ISE nodes are deployed as virtual appliances.

The hardware running secondary ISE VM crashed and we had to reinstall ISE appliance. Have following doubts with respect to adding the node back as secondary ISE node to the live setup -

1. Does license need to be re-hosted in this scenario as I see a different serial no. in the UDI of the newly installed ISE node?

2. If so, what is the procedure for the same?

The license is for the deployment and not per node so no worries there.

Just make sure the replacement unit is brought back up to same version and patch level, the necessary certificates are in place and then rejoin it to the deployment
