Posture Logs

Hello,

In the AnyConnect client under the "Scan Summary" tab, it shows the names of the posture checks as they are defined in ISE.  Is there a log on the workstation that will actually show WHAT those items in the Scan Summary are actually looking at?

No, this information is within ISE.  It could also be contained in a DART bundle but the easiest place to look would be on the ISE server.

The AnyConnect posture assessment checks, as displayed in the "Scan Summary" tab, typically correspond to specific posture requirements configured in Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine). However, the detailed information about what each posture check is actually looking at is not typically stored locally on the workstation in a log file.

Instead, the posture assessment checks are defined and configured within Cisco ISE, which communicates with the AnyConnect client on the workstation during the posture assessment process. The AnyConnect client performs various checks on the workstation based on the requirements defined in Cisco ISE's posture policies.

To understand what each posture check is looking at, you would typically need to refer to the posture policies configured in Cisco ISE. Within the Cisco ISE administration interface, you can view and edit posture policies to see the specific conditions and requirements defined for each posture check.

If you're looking for detailed logging or troubleshooting information related to posture assessment checks, you would typically review logs on the Cisco ISE server rather than on the individual workstations. Cisco ISE logs contain information about posture assessment events, including which posture checks were performed and whether they passed or failed.
