TACACS Licenses in ISE

Hi,

I am checking the documentation for TACACS licensing in the configuration guide and this is what is says for TACACS:

TACACS+

A Base or Mobility license is required to install the Device Administration license. Only one license is required per deployment (regardless of multiple nodes).

But then there is a note that states:

TACACS+ sessions do not consume a base license, but RADIUS sessions consume a base license.

So my question is, if we want to use a couple of 3515 for TACACS+ only, do we need a base license?

Yes you still need the base license is required to allow you to enable the UI on ISE so that you can use the configuration and policies. It basically unlocks the system. The tacacs license turns on device admin
