Customer purchasing CiscoOne and getting ISE Base licenses wants to understand the value of ISE-VM-K9= and what it represents on the server.  Is this a VMWare license for example?

Although I am familiar with the ordering guide – I could not find the specific reference as to what the part actually gives the customer – or better yet, “why” they need to purchase it.

per guide column its right to use the VM

RTU – got it – but customer would still require a vSphere license to manage the VM itself?

This is the ise licensing nothing to do it VMwares own licensing

You need a license whatever tools in used to manage it for

My understanding is the VM SKU is the entitlement of using the VM and getting Cisco support if proper service is purchased such as Cisco One.

Thank-you Jason for your help. OK will position as such.

Chris
