wireless authentication

hello

I am working in an environment where there is a wireless guest infrastructure configured 

guest users are given access by an Administrator based on their email 

there is  a requirement for a wireless printer to be given access to this guest network 

the printer cannot present the standard email /username for authentication 

what is the most secure way of allowing the printer access to the network ?

Given you are referring to connecting the printer on a guest segment it wouldn't require much security measures in this case because the guest segment must be segregated from any internal resources, and it should only be allowed to get limited accesses to the internet. However, generally speaking TEAP would be the most secure protocol, but I don't believe the printers would support it. This leaves EAP-TLS to be the second preferred protocol if it is supported on the printer, if not, you might need to get away with EAP-PEAP which authenticates via username and password compared to EAP-TLS that does certificates authentication. If the printer doesn't support any of those protocols, then you last resort would be MAB which relies on the MAC address.
