The following is the current running config on ASA5510. I would like to configure a name server on ASA5510 and delete a wrong name server entry (name-server 192.168.4.1). Please show me how to delete the wrong name server entry and configure a new name server possibly google or OpenDns. Thanks.

Hi Thomas,
In order to remove the existing name-server you would need to go under "dns server-group DefaultDNS" and then remove the existing name-server. So the commands would be as below:
#dns server-group DefaultDNS
#no name-server 192.168.4.1
At the same level you can add the new server as well and considering google. The command is going to be as below:
#name-server 8.8.8.8
Thanks & Regards,

Thanks. Your answer resolved my dns problem. However i also added an entry for dhcpd dns

You should be able to overwrite that entry directly by entering the command:
#dhcpd dns 8.8.8.8
It will only take one entry.
Thanks & Regards,
Rahul Nandan K
