Cellular0: Only SLIP encapsulation supported

I've got a new C819HG+7-K9 router and have installed two active SIM cards (LTE) in it.  However, when I try to enable encapsulation ppp on the cellular card I'm getting an error that Cellular0: Only SLIP encapsulation supported.  Any suggestions?

Yes, that's right. There is no ppp, only slip encapsulation on cellular interface.

Just change a chat-script and it should work. Use cisco reference:

I tried chat-script gsm "" "ATDT*98*3#" TIMEOUT 30 "CONNECT" and

chat-script gsm "" "AT!SCACT=1,3" TIMEOUT 60 "OK" but I still get the same error. Do you have any idea of what it could be?
