Install new Line Cards Cisco Nexus 9504

Hi,

I have some questions about installing new line cards in Cisco Nexus switches. The switches are working in VPC mode.

1. ¿Is it possible to install the line cards while the devices are working? or is it necessary turn off each switch?

2.Considering the switch has 3 empty slots, Is it possible to put the module in any slot position?

3. Does the switch need a reboot?

Installing new Line card does not required to reboot - its hot insertion.

make sure the check which slot to install depends on the module - the module install guide can give you direction.
