We have a Spectralink wireless phone system installed that is using Cisco Aironet 350 Access Points. There was a site survey that was done before the installation. However, we continue to lose signal sporadically for a time of up to eight seconds. In a Cisco system that is operating 'properly' is a loss of signal(No Gateway Found) every once in a while normal or should this only happen on rare occaisions. In other words, on any given day should we expect that we don't show a loss of signal at some point.

Did you purchase the "QoS" box from Spectralink? They recommend/require it for voice priority and quality when setting up a Wireless IP net.

Is the SVP box absolutely necessary or will the phones work without it?

Are the AP's in there own VLAN or are they in the same VLAN as the Data VLAN?
We had the same problem and Spectralink told us to seperate the VLAN's. Also the SVP box must be in the AP/Voice VLAN.
