Cisco Call manager Directory service not working on subscriber after publisher fails

My call manager( Publisher) just failed after a restart and the other secondary call managers (subscriber's) have failed to display global Directories, can any one help with how to resolve this, to get the subscribers to display directories contacts?

To which server do you have your directories URL pointing to??

If it's the PUB, and you don't have DNS redundancy, or similar, right now there is no way to change this, as the PUB is the only read-write DB, if it's gone, all the PUBs are locked to read-only
