Cisco OTV practical between 2 far Data Centers

Hi All, I have a requirement to migrate Heathrow DC to Swindon DC. I have done some research for that and found that Cisco Otv feature can help here.
However while deep diving, I came across a few queries that are not explained or take into consideration by Cisco.

1. I do not have a direct link between 2 data Center which I want to create OTV, most of the documentation have a dedicated link while explaining OTV.
If any of you have done Cisco OTV configuration, please share your experience and challenges faced. Feel free to ask any query related to setup.
2. I have the flexibility to create a dedicated OTV, please take into consideration as well.
Also please let me know if I can have multiple overlay scenario.

Use cases tested over MPLS, so it should not be problem.

but make sure you need to consider lot of elements when you designing DCI environment.

If you do not have an expertise onsite, suggest to use Cisco PS Services or Gold partner to validate the design.
