We are facing this issue almost on every DB server in our environment. On Windows 2012 R2 server (DB server) we are observing WHEA-logger Event ID: 47 in event logs and at the same time slowness occurs on database.
Some of the servers we observed correctable memory errors and after resetting these errors still we are unable to resolve the issue hence we replaced the DIMM's which resolves the issue till now.
Just wants to know , is there any setting in BIOS to disable these events occurring on Windows 2012 R2 server which causing slowness? or do we need to keep replacing the DIMM.s ?
