PBR across a DS3

I just recently set up Policy Based routing to redirect my internet traffic across a DS3 and out a PIX515. I made this change which uses Access-lists based on a host deny to my local subnet and permit to any, then follow route map to the next hop. Slowness started in the ProE and PROman applications on the remote side of the DS3. I do not see an CPU hit and traffic is max 8 percent on the line. I also added the route cache policy to try and help but to no avail. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have slowness after PBR?

Thanks

You might try (depending on platform that you have PBR configured on) to configure

"ip route-cache policy" on the interface with the policy configured on. You might be running into Process switching problems with your PBR setup.

Some more information as to the Hardware you are using, pbr config, IOS version might help more as well.

Hope this helps,
