Hello Everyone,
I need a help to setup Cisco IR829 in our lab,We have a IR829 gateway router when we are connecting to the power adapter and try to connect to the console by USB connector,I found that the PWR Led light is getting fixed Amber color.
According to the user manual its means that "System shutdown due to under or over voltage conditions".
Can anyone help me out to solve the issues.
Thanks.

Hello,
this could either be a problem with your buidling/wall outlet power connection, or the power cable itself.
You could construct your own cable,

What does your cable look like ? Is it the one that came shipped with the router ?

Hello Georg Pauwen,
Yes the power cable came with the router itself.
Thanks

Hello,
try a few other power outlets in your building first.
Make sure the wires at the 4-point Molex connector (the end of the cable that plugs into your router) are properly attached and not loose...

The cable connection is proper, there is a lock like rj45 connector,no loose connection. And also tired different power outlets, the result remains same.
