Looking for some ideas/suggestions for dual ISP setup

I have a client that has two ISPs, one is cable about 50Mbps and the other is a T-1.  I am currently policy routing all of the 80/443 traffic through the cable ISP but I want to setup failover and still use the IPs from the T-1 ISP because of external customers.  I don't care for the way the ASA handles this so I am thinking about getting an ASA for each ISP and one 2800 router to handle the failover and routing for the network.

I am just trying to come up with some ideas/suggestions.

Thanks!

Hi Nelson,

I think, for failover below would wotk just fine

1. Configure the 2 static routes with difference in AD values to serve as primary /seconday
2. Create Track & IP SLA ......# this will check if the ISP gateway IP is reachable or not, track will go down once the ISP gatewat becomes unreachable #
3. Configure the Static route with Track as below:

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 <next-hop-ip-address> track 1

# this route will stay in routing table as long as the Track status is up, means ISP gateway is reachable, if the Track goes down, route will be removed from the routing table & then routing will be done fall back to alternate available routes
