Remove Member of StackWise Virtual

Hi Cisco Community

  I will config SVL on Cisco 9404R and I config 2X40G for SVL Links (temporary for migrate) and 2x10G for DAD link.

I'm concern after I completed migration because I would like to remove one of SVL member for SVL link. I'm not sure that require to reload router

Hi,

If you have configured 2 members as SVL link, and you unplug only 1 of it. There should will have no impact.

As long as there is a SVL member is UP, then the SVL state should retain. However, if all of the SVL members are DOWN (dual active situation) , and the original primary will move into recovery mode. You will need to reload that switch to resume.
