nice article does sdwan deployment limit hardware throughout at branch sites? and can cisco the sdwan solution provide optimization for IaaS and SaaS platforms like AWS ?

Most welcome @kenber , Cisco SD-WAN is designed to be flexible, and it doesn't inherently limit hardware choices at branch sites. It supports a variety of deployment models, including both hardware appliances and virtual instances. You can choose the solution that best fits your requirements, please refer to this

Cisco SD-WAN is well-suited for optimizing connectivity to cloud platforms like AWS. It provides intelligent routing, traffic optimization, and application-aware routing. This means that the solution can dynamically choose the most efficient network path for traffic destined to AWS, whether it's for IaaS or SaaS applications. The integration of SD-WAN with AWS allows organizations to enhance network performance, reduce latency, and ensure a reliable connection to cloud resources. This is particularly valuable as businesses increasingly rely on cloud services for critical applications.
