Is there a way to capture traffic leaving Nexus 1000v uplinks (from an ESXi host). I tried both vempkt and configuring a monitor session to copy all uplink interfacec traffic to vethernet port but no luck. I dont see the 802.1Q header in any of the captures. May be If I could capture in Fabric interconnects, It will show, but looks like FI can only capture control traffic. Can I use ERSPAN in UCS.. Please help..
Setup is N1k running on ESXi in a UCS blade server with 1 FI.
