mds add new ISL link

we have 2 fabrics with vsan 100 and vsan200

fabric 1

2 mds link with 1 ISL link

ISL simple port mode trunk with vsan 1 and 100

the ISL load have peak at 40%

we plan to add more storage array and replication between theses.

Can I simply add a second ISL with the same speed and config like the 1st port and the traffic will be load balanced or not?

yes sure you can add another ISL that should work, also why not add ports to exiting ISL ?

I don't have a port channel

oh aplogies if this is not configured as PO

either option is small downtime and Port-channel config

or add new ISL and allow VSAN required.
