SF302-08 Locking up ports.

Bought 7 SF302-08  POE switches in order to install POE badge scanners in our shipping area.  The plant as a whole have much larger Black box managed switches that come from the server.  Everytime I plug into the network, it locks out the associated port, perhaps due to security?  There is nothing i can do on the black box side since it is managed by Verizon.  Ive used all ports including port 9 and 10 which doesn't have POE on them, and tried to turn most everything on the port that I think of.  Is there any setting change that I can do that may prevent this?  Otherwise I will have to scrap all 7 switches.

Have you checked the "Interface Status" under Security -> Port Security ?
