6500 VSS and Nexus 7000 routing??

Hi,

first of all - i already read the incompatibility guide and various documents about VPC and VSS.

But I keep having problem with:

Connecting a Campus Distribution 6500 VSS (formaly the Core) to 2 Nexus 7000 (7702) (new core).

As the incompatibility guide says - routing between the SVI's with using VPC and MEC on VSS side is not possible.

So I want to implement L3 ports and do ECMP with EIGRP.

But how is the configuration when doing L3 portchannels in between VSS an N7K??

Is it 2 routed port/portchannel per VSS Chassis connected to both N7K's? So 4 /31 subnets??

Or is it still 1 SVI on the VSS side and 1 Portchannel to 1 big VPC on the N7K side to an HSRP VIP? Is hat supported?

Or 1 SVI on VSS and one Po to 2 VPC's(each for one N7K)?

I am quite confused what Cisco means with routing in between VSS and VPC.

BR

Alex
