Greetings--
I'm looking for suggestions for blocking some sites on a 2911 VPN router. This is the situation
-I have an over-utilized line where users largely have free reign on the internet breakout
-I have not kind of traffic monitoring utilities or appliances available.
Essentially the line is overused, and I don't really have much in the way of options, (that I"m aware of), to find out what is using up the bandwidth. So I have been given orders to block Facebook and a few other semi-randomly selected sites so they can see what happens.
Is there a best practice for this? I suppose initially it does matter if there is some maintenance overhead needed, as it will be temporary.
I would also need it to be fairly easy to remove because I've been told to block Googedocs, but since it's unknown whether it it used for business purposes, we may have to restore it quickly if there are problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Jon,
There have been a few discussions on this in the past. Here is one regarding Cisco 2900.

Thanks Reza----must have been off just enough on the search term....Appreciate it...will also try to figure out why this only gave me credit for raiting this 4 stars and not 5 and resolve it. Thanks
