cant change config on 887va

afternoon all

after finallly getting a working cofig for my 887va , everytime i try to apply the config i get this message:

"Changing hostname is not supported.Remove hostname to countinue."

any ideas

Are you doing this by Cli yes not through a configuration tool , if its through a tool get on and do the config by command line through console

its using the cisco tool , what are the commands i need to put into console to apply this config

tools are buggy , use the cli

console in and get into configuration mode , copy and paste it bit by bit dont try and paste it all in at once

tyep conf t hit return to get into configuration mode , it will look like this routerA(config)#
