Catalyst 500 Series and DHCP

Hello all. I have a new Catalyst 500 trunked to a 3750.

All my other switches that are trunked to the 3750 are receiving IP addresses on all VLANs with the "ip-helper" command which is configured on each VLAN interface on the 3750. However, the Catalyst 500 series is not.

Furthermore, all VLANs are configured on this 500 series, and when a static IP address is assigned to the host, the traffic is passed on all VLANS over the trunk to the 3750.

I looked online and through the 500 series documentation and can not find a solution.

Note that the hosts on the 500 series have the desktop SmartPort role configured, and the trunk port has the switch SmartPort role configured. Once again, the port that the host is plugged into is assigned to the correct VLAN.

Any ideas?
