How to automate a shut, no shut in Cisco Switch 2960x

I am wondering what the command would be for automating a shut, no shut on Cisco 2960x switches.

I would need to target a few Gi #/#/# ports. Any good tested recommendations?

Hello,

Depends on why they are being shutdown.

You could use an EEM script to target a specific action or syslog message that appears and run a set of commands based on that, or if its port-security related you should be able to shut no shut the port with either err-disable recovery or using the aging -port-security option I believe

switchport port-security aging time/type

The reason I am manually doing shut and then no shut to bounce the port is to power cycle a POE digital clock.

Clocks seem to loose connection to internal company ntp server and a reboot helps them reconnect and communicate.

Nothing related to security or flapping.

Would you have an idea on commands to use?

Possibly an EEM script using a repetitive timer.
