StackWise Virtual on C9500-40X

I need to select 6 new switches, and the model that fits my requirement in terms of ports is "C9500-40X".

I also need to implement Stack technology on them but according to the datasheet the StackWise Virtual is not supported yet on "C9500-40X" model.

What does it mean "Not Supported Yet" ? It will not be supported forever, or we are expecting for a new IOS that will support StackWise on "C9500-40X" later ?.

just stumbled over this thread and had a read on Release Notes.

regarding this https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9500/software/release/16-11/release_notes/ol-16-11-9500.html#concept_unq_yc1_mgb having "Stack Wise Virtual Links on Uplink Modules" is now supported from 16.11 on.

thought, that might be interesting for some.

IOS XE 16.11.1 is out since March 30th, so one might want to wait a bit more... :)
