Turning on log messages on Catalyst switches

Hello. Do Catalyst switches log all supported messages by default (with regard to the logging level and discriminators), or is there a way to turn some messages on? To be specific, some of our Catalyst switches log these messages when a user logs out, while others don't:

%SYS-6-LOGOUT: User admin has exited tty session 1(192.168.1.1)

I want to TURN ON such messages on all of our switches. Is it possible?

Logging level IS the same on all of them. Such messages are NOT filtered out by logging discriminators. Models and IOS versions are NOT the same.

Thanks and best regards.

Depends on each switch you configured you logging config - so check the logging config all switches have same information, ther is not major changes  done IOS and IOS XE in terms of logging configuration concern

check below logging configuration - how you like to save the logs, buffered, on console, or send to syslog server.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/software/release/17-1/configuration_guide/sys_mgmt/b_171_sys_mgmt_9300_cg/configuring_system_message_logs.html

%SYS-6-LOGOUT: User admin has exited tty session 1(192.168.1.1)

is this login using local or TACACS  ?

you can have below to give you the outcome in general

login on-success log
login on-failure log

suggest to post the config which you having issue to look. (provide device model and IOS Code too)
