Expressway Clustering with Single NIC for B2B and Webrtc Calls

Dear Team,

We have expressway E with single NIC deployement for B2B calls and webrtc calls

expressway E1 at DC LAN1 ( 192.X.X.X -DMZ IP) Nated with public IP

expressway E2 at DR LAN 1( 192.168.X>X-DMZ IP) Nated with public IP

I have one question:

Does expressway clustering is supported for expressway Single NIC deployment model?

We have only one firewall.

Please help me to expressway cluster deployment.

expressway setup details:

DC
expresssway c1 expressway-e1-LAN1

172.28.1.X 192.168.X.10

DR

Hello,

Yes, with single NIC the clustering is possible and supported.

For more details on configuring cluster please refer to the below clustering guide-

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config_guide/X8-10/Cisco-Expressway-Cluster-Creation-and-Maintenance-Deployment-Guide-X8-10.pdf

And to more understand the single nic and dual nic concepts please refer to the "Appendix 4: Advanced Networking Deployments "-

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config_guide/X12-5/Cisco-Expressway-Basic-Configuration-Deployment-Guide-X12-5-4.pdf
