No domain configuration has been received from the Expressway-C

I am configuring a VCS-C and VCS-E for Jabber Guest. I have configured a Unified Communications Traversal Zone from C to E. The Zone is Active and up but I am getting SSH tunnel errors on both C and E.

VCS-C Error

No SSH tunnels have been established

VCS-E Error

No domain configuration has been received from the Expressway-C. Check zone connection activity on the Expressway-C

Any ideas?

Thanks

RB

Check:

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config_guide/X8-5/Cisco-Expressway-IP-Port-Usage-for-Firewall-Traversal-Deployment-Guide-X8-5.pdf

Especially form -C (source 30000 to 35999) to port 2222 to -E

In addition check your DNS, NTP Settings and certificates.

And sure, the generic admin and deployment guides:

Martin,

Thanks for the reply. I resolved my issue but it wasn't related to anything you mentioned. In this case I had the VCS-E configured as a single nic setup but didn't have the advanced network key in place to allow nating. entered the key and setup the nat....viola.

However, the document you linked to was an excellent resource. made a lot more sense that previous cisco documentation!

The key of Advanced Networking (AN) key is easily missing because the Activation Key mail from Cisco is sent separately from other option keys. I hit the same issue while re-host license, and finally found that AN's key is missing.
