I'm tryng the ldap autentication for CE 9.x administration.
I'v succesfully set it up using the "domain\username" format for the login and the user principal name but i can't manage the autenticatication using the user email.
To achive this I changed the "attribute" field from EMPTY to "mail" the request is reaching the AD server but the answer is "invalid credential"
it seems there is somthing wrong in the way I define the atribute field but this si the only note I found on the admin guide:
UserManagement LDAP Attribute
The attribute used to map to the provided username. If not set, sAMAccountName is used.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Default value: ""
Value space: String (0, 255)
The attribute name
