Dear all,

Taking into consideration that the Conductor based Telepresence setup is EoL, what is going to happen or the future path specific to the CMR onprem and CMR Hybrid ?

Is it CMS then what is possible out of CMS in line with CMR hybrid plus the licensing transition path@CMR hybrid based setup

Thanks to all for your kind attention and hope to hear from your end.

Regards

m

CMR hybrid will work for now, the future will be the hybrid media node as the Webex back end becomes the same as Spark. Once that happens you'll be able to extend the Webex cloud services to your prem just like you can do with Spark now. CMS will never work with Webex, that's not the direction Cisco is going in.

Take a look at this thread posted here in February, it should help you:

You can migrate your TelePresence Server licenses to CMS, but CMS doesn't support CMR Hyrbid. It sounds like you have an existing and working deployment, recommend you reach out to your Cisco Account Team, they can put you in touch with a CSE or someone who can help you determine the right replacement products to migrate to and which path you should date, ie: on-premise, cloud, or a hybrid of the two.

Thanks for your input. We are already working on the consolidation for the conductor based TP setup transition to CMS in conjunction with Expressway 8.10.x..

The open ended question in the design was CMR Hybrid and there is no right or wrong answer yet on this... Nothing available till date match the CMR hybrid use case..

Thanks and regards
