Hi Guys,
I'm new in this CUCM stuff. I was asked configure trunk between 2 countries CUCM.
May I know for this case, do I need to create intercluster trunk or SIP trunk?
Is there a document where I can know how to configure this as well as a step by step guide? Like route pattern setup..etc
Do I need to configure the voice gateway for the SIP trunk as well?

SIP trunk if both clusters are 8.6+, if any of them is 8.5 or below, use an ICT.
You can review the dial plan chapter from the SRND to understand how the different elements work together, but there is no doc that will tell you how to configure everything, at least not on cisco.com, you might Google this topic and find external resources.
You need to have a good understanding how to configure this to work with your dial plan, and any digit manipulation that might be required, as well as the CSS/partitions to use.
No idea about your last question, you'd need to explain how that GW would fit into the call flow.

Thanks for the advise. Yes ours is below 8.5, think need to use ICT.
Yes I think not related voice gateway as that is for internal route to pstn.
Need to read up this dial plan chapter.
Appreciate the advise.
