CUCM 9.1, CUP 9.1 without LDAP

Hi,

Can CUCM 9.1 and CUP 9.1 be deployed without LDAP?

I have both installed without LDAP. I installed the jabber client and it's connected. I can make calls if I write the directory number on the search bar, on the jabber main window. If I search for a name, I get nothing. Is this normal if I have no LDAP integration? Is there a way to make the name search works without LDAP?

You could potentially do it without LDAP but more later versions of Jabber, they enforce you to use LDAP. You could try configuring Jabber version with 9.2.x with UDS which looks for users in UCM. For details about UDS integration, look here.
