Cucm 9.X

Dears, 

My customer has CUCM version 9.x and needs to add new 25 phone set and licenses. no Smartnet available. how we can add more licenses for new phone sets

Cucm 9.x is an EOL product. There is no option to  order licenses for 9.x version.

you must bring the system to version 12.5 or 14 to add licenses and register additional phones.

if you have existing free license you can add phones.

thanks for your reply. i do not have free licenses. how to upgrade from 9.0 to 14. buy smartnet ?

You can’t even buy swss. 
you must buy the license for version 14 and upgrade your cucm to 14.

Now The license are subscription based and not the old perpetual model.

Reach out  to a local Cisco partner who is good in voice they will assist you.
