I have a need to advertise one calling number when dialing outside the building/customers and the billing telephone number when dialing 911.
My question is, is it possible to have an External Phone Number Mask on your directory number be overridden when dialing 911 by changing the Route Pattern to not use the Calling Party’s External Phone Number Mask? That way, the users will show one caller id when dialing customers and the billing telephone number when dialing 911. Is my thinking correct on this?
