IM & P Cluster Reboot - Correct Proceedures

Hi All,

I was wondering if I could leverage someone who has IM & P server cluster reboot experience.

I'm running a Pub and Sub, both on version 11.5.1.15900-33 and I'd just like to know the proper procedure to reboot these servers.  I have about 490 user on each node and they're setup in balanced mode with HA enabled on CUCM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have never had to reboot them on their own; its usually in parallel with CUCM, but I have always followed the same process as CUCM.

Reboot Pub, wait till services - in this case, the XCP Router and other XCP services you are using, then reboot the Sub.  When both are back up, verify users and load is as expected on the Pub/Sub.

Thank You - Yes, I will be doing a full cluster reboot including CUCM and CUC as well.

So, you don't failover the HA? Just go for the reboot (Pub and then Sub)?

if you are running HA , i thought you will have to disable them prior to reboot ?
