IM&P Persistent Rooms: MSSQL Cluster replication support

Hello,

1) If I'm interested in creating an MSSQL cluster over the WAN for Persistent Rooms, what kind of replication is supported so that there is no an impact to user experience in case one of the nodes fails? This is assuming a single presence redundancy group. If the MSSQL servers have different IP/Hostnames, is this even supported for a single IM&P subcluster?

2) If over-the-wan isn't supported in my use case, can I use a local MSSQL HA cluster with a single IP address?

Thanks for replying. That link doesn't mention the supported or preferred replication method between the databases.
