Hello, probably a very obvious question but will changing the vNIC Adapter Policy from "not set" to Windows require a reboot of the server OS? Or can this been done without a reboot? Many thanks Roy.

Hi Roy

Due to the fact, that adaptor policy sets certain physical I/O adaptor characteristics, the blade has to go through a reboot process.

Hoperfully you have setup a maintenance policy with "Ack".

Walter.

Hi Walter,

Thank you for the reply, I thought that would be the case. I managed to arrange downtime with the business so all sorted now and seems to have resolved the issues we were seeing.

Regards

Roy
