Cloud name is not reachable when enabling SRM in UCSD

Ok, we have just got hold of UCS Director and I am busy setting it up.

But I am stumped when trying to integrate Vmware Site Recovery Manager

I can add my Vmware clouds successfully and can see information etc, unless I try to enable SRM when the account addition fails with

"Cloud with name cloud is not reachable"

  • I have added the account used by UCS director in on both primary and remote SRM servers as with admin privileges. I have logged into SRM via the VI client using those account credentials.
  • In the SRM server address, I have tried the FQDN and the IP for both the SRM server itself, and the Vcenter server
  • The Server Access port wasn't changed during SRM install (cos it was me that installed SRM)

There must be something simple I am missing. Would appreciate any pointers.
