We have two 9372 (7.0(3)I4(6)) in our data center. And 22 layer 3 switches (3750, 2960,etc.) are connected to both 9372s via vPC by using access port. I have a SingleWire paging server located at data center and connected to one of 9372s. The paging traffic should be sent to voice vlan. And the default gateway for the voice vlan is on the all of layer 3 switches.
My issue is the paging traffice cannot pass through vPC. I opened a ticket with TAC. Their suggestion it to use layer 3 connection between 9372 and the all of layer3 switches. It is a big change. I think there maybe other solution for fixing the issue. is there someone who experienced the same issue? What is your solution?
