Moving Port Licenses between FI's

Hello,
Is it possible to move port licenses between Fabric Interconnetcs? For instance to move a port license (currently in use) from Fabric Interconnect A to Fabric Interconnect B in the same UCS domain?? What about moving them between different UCS domains?? Is there any difference whether these licenses where the 12 built-in FI licenses or "added-later" licenses?
Thanks a lot,

Hallo Dani

As you know, licenses are bound to FI serial number (see below), therefore the hardware bundled licenses cannot be moved around.

For any additional license move, you have to open a TAC case, and I have only seen this for a FI RMA; don't know if this is generally available and supported.

Moving licenses between Gen 1 and Gen 2 FI is not supported.

Step 1  Obtain the product authorization key (PAK) from the claim certificate or other proof of purchase document.
Step 2  Locate the website URL in the claim certificate or proof of purchase document.
Step 3  Access the website URL for the fabric interconnect and enter the serial number and the PAK.

Cisco sends you the license file by email. The license file is digitally signed to authorize use on only the requested fabric interconnect. The requested features are also enabled once Cisco UCS Manager accesses the license file.
