Hello,

I have a customer that wants to work only with Vsan1, will this be a best practice should have a different one?

thanks

we are preaching this now for decades: never use neither vlan id = 1 nor vsan id = 1. it is simply not best practise.

e.g. regarding vsan's: use different vsan id's (different of 1) for fabric A resp.B

Walter is absolutely correct, it is best practice not to use the default VSAN 1, this can cause complications with your enviornment.

If you used VSAN 170 for Fabric A, it would be best to use VSAN 270 for Fabric B.  You want to always refrain from using the defaults values.
